Too many Baja sites claim to be experts on the Baja or an area in the Baja. It was wisdom learned early on and taught well, that when I knew something well, I was just an advanced student. On this site, we share what we have learned, observed, or been taught by others we have encountered while on trips to all parts of the Baja. What we do claim is that we will continually share with you what we have learned over the last several decades and what we are learning still. The strong dollar has returned and the most recent rate that I saw was (7/03/09) at 13.24 Pesos to one dollar. The savings based on this ratio is 32%. on your Baja Vacation. Hand them $100.00 US Dollars and they will hand you $132.00 in Pesos. There is no inflation in the Baja every thing cost the same it did when the ratio was 10 Pesos to 1 US Dollar.
